Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March 1984) is a comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea's acting career started in the year the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic after she appeared in small part in Irish and British TV series starting in the year 2009. The comedian began to appear often on sketch comedy and sitcoms from 2012. After she received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing often in various panel shows. In 2016 and 2017, she served as a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Additionally, she was participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan, the actress is the mother of one sister called Sinead. In 2012, she became the second woman ever to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny award. Bea is her maiden name in honor of her deceased father. But, she did not learn the cause of her death until thirteen years later. The stage name she chose was Bea to honor her late father. Bea also wrote a 2017 article in The Guardian on her family's suicide experience. Bea as well as her sister Sinead were nurtured by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a professional jockey for a time. Her parents were obsessed by racing and horses. Bea was initially a tourist guide at Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her true passion was acting, not racing.
